Fantastically whimsical tattoo by Ryan Mason
A few points of interest:
1. Sisterchick is ridiculously gorgeous. I hate that I’m not going to be part of the day-to-day living of the next year of her life.
2. Look at that adorable old lady. She has prayed for my step-dad every day for fifteen years and has met him once: last Sunday. She also has a framed picture of Ronald Reagan in her living room, which never ceases to amuse me. Last fun fact: before getting the girl on my arm colored in a bit, she thought the girl was topless & would always cover her up when she talked to me cuz she didn’t like what she thought was my nudie girl tattoo.
3. My sleeve is basically finished after nearly eleven months of work. I’ll get some color when I’m back in the States next year, but she’s done for now. [Why my sleeve is a ‘she,’ I’m not quite sure. My pink elephant is a boy though.]
4. I leave for Tanzania in seven days. Seven. Days. I think I may actually be starting to panic just a bit.
Photobooth stop at VooDoo…there’s a shocker as I am completely addicted. J & I have been friends since we were five years old—ridiculously different people, but it’s a friendship that will stick.
Fun fact: she’s half of the cartoon tattoo on my arm.
