The New York City skyline is one that you can sit and marvel at for hours on an end. But when you’re looking at it from some rooftop in Brooklyn, it’s easy to get a glimpse of other random structures in the way. One of these, that Unconsumption is very proud of, is a watertower in Dumbo, Brooklyn. (Dumbo is what the folks of Brooklyn affectionately call the area “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass”) 

Although this watertower is only for decoration and is not actually in use, it has been built using only recycled plexiglass and steel. Tom Fruin, the designer, collected the plexiglass from various businesses and buildings in New York City. Tom Fruin is known for using recycled materials in his artwork.
